It’s good to be first. Delaware’s state slogan says it all and I wish I could say they were first in this race but not quite. Even though they do have an aggressive plan for converting to renewable energy which is commendable and you do have the option for a power purchase agreement so you can get solar panels free there are a few states that are little further ahead of them at the moment.
If Delaware wants to be first in this energy race they might need to step up there efforts just a little bit more. Don’t get me wrong Delaware is still one of the leading states making a change to renewable energy, they just aren’t number one at the moment.
Delaware has set forth a plan to get 25% of the state power from renewable energy by the year 2025. With a solar carve out of 3.5% by the year 2027. With this any more incentive programs in place Delaware is a great place to go with solar power.
